A membranous counter electrode, composed of PEDOT/PSS doping dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO) and carbon blacks, has been prepared by roller printing. The dopants wereadded to enhance the conductivity and catalytic activities. It was researched that the amountof DMSO and carbon blacks. β-CuSCN nano-powders were prepared with NaSCN andCuSO4by liquid precipitation method, and were dispersed by surface active agent namedPEG400. It was discussed that the influences of temperature, concentration and the amount ofsurface active agent on the particles. A solid state electrolyte named PEDOT/PSS-CuSCNwas prepared with PEDOT/PSS, DMSO, CuSCN nano-powders and ionic liquid. The optimaladdition of CuSCN was discussed through the influences of CuSCN on the state electrolyte’sperformance. The solid dye-sensitized solar cell(DSSC) was assembled with PEDOT/PSScounter electrode, PEDOT/PSS-CuSCN electrolyte and TiO2photoelectrode. The stabilitywere compared between the solid DSSC and liquid DSSC.Sheet resistance, surface morphology and voltage-current characteristic of thePEDOT/PSS counter electrode were investigated by four point resistivity probe, SEM, UVSPrespectively. Crystal structure and particle size of CuSCN were investigated by the X-raydiffraction analysis (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and Laser Particle Sizerrespectively. Conductivity, electrochemical stability and voltage-current characteristic of thePEDOT/PSS-CuSCN electrolyte were analysized by Dc low resistance tester, theelectrochemical analysis system workstations, UVSP respectively.The results show: the conductivity and catalytic activities of PEDOT/PSS counterelectrode can be enhanced dramatically by adding DMSO and carbon blacks. The bestperformance of PEDOT/PSS counter electrode is obtained when the ratio of PEDOT/PSS toDMSO is4.5:1and the amount of carbon blacks is0.5%. β-CuSCN nano-powders can beprepared at80℃. When theconcentration of all reactions is0.2mol/L and the amount ofpolyethylene glycol400(PEG400) is1.5%, the particle size is smallest, about40nm. Whenthe amount of CuSCN is8%,the performance of PEDOT/PSS-CuSCN is best. The stabilityof solid DSSC is much better than liquid DSSC. Under an illumination of100mW/cm2, the Jsc, Voc, FF, η of solid DSSC are1.98mA/cm2,0.55V,0.51,1.03%respectively.
