This paper based on the function analysis ofbridge crane, leading in the modern design ideas of Modularization and Serration, thenew design is carried out on the bridge crane. So that it can meet the marketdiversified, multi-level needs.(1) This paper introduces the research on modular design and its application incrane, puts forward the significance of this research, research content, researchobjectives and research methods, and builds the corresponding framework.(2) This paper introduces the theory of modular design, including the concept,the modular design of the modular design and modular design the method of functionanalysis, and introduces other technology application to the design of module.(3) Through the bridge crane are analyzed systematically, introducing theconcept of dimensional matrix, matrix spectral construction of bridge cranedimensional product series.
