Traditional fixed displacement oil pump must be in accordance with the maximum demandpoint of the engine displacement of the selection, it will lead to a huge waste in the typicaloperating conditions of the engine, fuel supply capacity and power consumption, thevariable displacement oil pump canthe precise control of engine operating conditions theoil pump flow is bound to reduce the oil pump drive power, enabling the engine fuelconsumption reduction, variable displacement vane oil pump since It is based on the theorythat the new energy-saving technologies.Design based on displacement of the variable displacement vane oil pump rotor and statoreccentricity proportional relationship between the control mechanism to change some ofthe conditions of eccentric distance, that is effective to reduce the output flow of the oilpump. Article using a novel analytical method of computational fluid dynamics analysis(CFD) to pump fluid domain, i.e. the variable mechanism as a slide valve, the opening andclosing of the true analog variable pump feedback passage; article the application of CFDanalysis also detailed the performance of oil pump: flow, torque, pressure fluctuations,turbulence and cavitation, and rely on the guidance of CFD analysis results and optimizethe pump design. Finite element structural strength and sealing analysis in the developmentprocess of the oil pump, oil pump pump body is an important part, in order to guide theselection and processing accuracy, and ensure the safety of the work of the pump body. Thedevelopment process of the oil pump without experimental verification and comparisonwith the overall performance of the oil pump test bench and PULSE noise and vibrationtest system test testing equipment, variable displacement vane oil pump performance testexperiments and vibration testing laboratories, and targeted recommendations based on thecomparison of experimental data processing and CFD analysis, the variable pump structureand improvement strategies.Article developed a variable displacement vane oil pump has important practicalsignificance for reducing engine output power and output torque; application of the above new CFD analysis methods to effectively reduce model processing and computation time,according to the CFD analysis of the performance indicators compared with theexperimental data of the variable displacement pump design-specific advice andimprovement measures, and also has a good guiding significance for the development ofthe same type of oil pump.
