The high speed motor, due to its characteristics of small volume, high efficiency and great power density, is becoming one of the great concerns in electrical engineering. Two main problems determine the unique technology of the high speed motor, first, the high-speed rotation of the rotor, the strength of rotor structure must be considered, especially for high-speed permanent magnet motor; permanent magnet needs to be protected; second, the high frequency of the stator winding current and the iron core flux, will produce a lot of stator iron loss, which needs to take measures to minimize the high-speed motor losses.Furthermore, for high-speed permanent magnet motor, the rotor eddy current loss may leading to the demagnetization of the permanent magnets of the rotor. Therefore, it is different from the normal motor to high-speed motor with unique characteristics and design method.This paper analyzes the high-speed permanent magnet motor rotor is fixed firstly, and derive the permanent magnet rotor block with a metal sheath and carbon fiber maintenance cover protection strength formula. The analytical method and the finite element method are compared to prove the correctness of the analytical method. Then using the VB software to the preparation of high-speed permanent magnet motor design software platform, the platform can generate permanent magnet synchronous motor electromagnetic field analysis, strength analysis and motor three-dimensional temperature field analysis APDL command language, and call ANSYS software for electromagnetic field analysis, strength analysis and temperature field Analysis.
