In recent years, many different kinds of aspheric cylindrical mirror were widely applied in the military and civilian products in optical fabrication. In order to realize the aspheric cylindrical mirror of high precision processing, solve the difficult problems in this field, the aspheric cylindrical mirror processing and testing methods are deeply researched. Classical process and modern process methods to process.are adopted and odd-form component for beam shaping system,which is composed of aspheric cylindrical mirror and cylindrical mirror, are fabricated in this paper. A unique lozenge producton of polishing disk is proposed based on the problem that the surface shape controlled hardly, using profilometer for surface shape detection, and the surface error are analyzed.The experimental results indicate that the aspheric cylindrical surface error is0.8487μm and curvature radius is33.26mm, cylindrical mirror curvature radius is37.06mm. All the parameters can meet the requirement of the optical element.
