In order to adapt the terrible natural environment, the collimator should be taken apart to ship.It required the first modal frequency of the parts group greater than50Hz to avoid the resonance. In order to guarantee the detecting precision, the entire collimator maximum static deformation should be less than0.35mm. First, make the static analysis and modal analysis for the initial structure of collimator, identify the optimization problem and establish the optimization plan. Second, make the dynamics and statics optimization for each parts group based on the software MSC.Patran_Nastran and the idea of integrated optimization. At last, make finite element analysis for the assembly collimator after optimization and assess the optimal design results. After the optimization, the first frequency of every part is much greater than50Hz, the static deformation of light guide arm is decreased from1.35mm to0.345mm, at the same time, the maximum static deformation of the main reflector is reduced from0.475mm to0.279. In summary, accomplish the dynamics and statics optimal design for the large-aperture collimator with the computer aided technique, these also has an exploration and attempt in the optical structure design with optimization technique.
