With the continuous development of society, people’s demand of spiritual and cultural landscape is rising, so regional landscape of urban construction will likely change dramatically resulting in the loss of the cultural and geographical features of the original landscape as well as the local culture attached to the native culture and the natural environment. In the landscape planning of the tea-production regions, the tea culture has great significance regarding as one of the essential spiritual and cultural factors. This paper studied the influence of the tea culture to the regional landscape, helping us know better of the culture value of tea and have further understanding of the inheritance of the tea culture and the role of regional landscape identifier, having a positive impact in building a better tea culture landscape environment.After searching references, this paper generally described the concept, connotation, and history evolution between tea culture and regional landscape. On this basis, this study took the city of Pu’er in Yunnan province as an example to discuss how the tea culture influences the tea-production area pointing out its influences to the Pu’er City landscape pattern and node in three aspects of the agricultural landscapes, urban landscape, and cultural landscape. By comparing the effect of Longjing Tea to Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area and the influence of Pu’er Tea to Pu’er tea-production regions, it was obvious to find that there were so many similarities and differences between the two landscapes. Secondly, by analyzing the cause of the similarities and differences, we knew the different elements such as the tea cultural origins, customs characteristics, geographical environments and climatic environment of the settlements had different effects, that is:Landscape of Longjing tea-production regions presented the beauty of the southern folk culture and customs, and the Pu’er tea-production regions presented the beauty of the minority native tea culture. So these two different styles formed two different tea producing interval landscapes.As the study shown above, the influence of tea culture to regional landscape was not only positive but also negative. So we came to the conclusion that:(1)The landscape design is very important to the tea-culture-imprint area, while the cultural heritage and landscape building mutually affects each other;(2)Using tea culture symbols in the regional landscape design we should follow the rules below:firstly, the landscape space of the cell combination rule; secondly, the reasonable format layout In accordance with the laws of landscape spatial cell combination; lastly let the cultural symbols of regional characteristics generated from the tea culture going back into the designs to try best to make the culture and landscape harmonious and balanced;(3)Regional space can be divided into property space, natural space, and urban space. The use of the tea culture in tea-production regions makes better quality of the regional landscape, lets the regional culture living long, and in other way improves the regional landscape becoming symbolized urban landscape.
