Nowadays, cities throughout the world are focus on increasing the traffic capacity and improving the quality of travel. Many cities look to the underground railway. However, earthquakes occur frequently in recent years. Engineering and technical personnel pay more and more attention to the anti-seismic problems about the subway station structure which is the subway transit hub. In allusion to the structural anti-seismic problem, many scholars ordinarily adopt two-dimensional finite element models to analyze. The two-dimensional reasonable structure models for underground engineering have certain applicability. However, the underground structures have become increasingly large and complicated, just to meet the simple engineering checking purpose is difficult for these two-dimensional models; to achieve higher safety design requirements is even harder. Some underground structures are located in complex geological and topographic condition or have complicated space structure form. To establish three-dimensional model simulation analysis is more reasonable. Comparing to2d model,3d model is more intuitive, accurate:what’s more the model has good consistency with the real engineering.Nanguanling station in Dalian is a large two floors underground metro station. A three-dimensional soil-structure interaction finite element model of the metro station is made for this station. This model is applied to take static analysis of the station under gravity loading. Furthermore, applied of three-dimensional visco-elastic artificial boundaries condition and input the complete three-dimensional El-Centro seismic wave and Taft seismic wave, modal analysis and earthquake response analysis are taken on the metro station model of free field and soil-structure interaction.The most disadvantaged position of structure under static load is checked out by static load analysis on station structure with the gravity load. It offers some reference conclusions to the engineering design.In the earthquake response analysis, because the incidence of different site conditions on the structure loads, failure types and seismic damage have a big difference, so first of all, the seismic response of a free field is analyzed, to be the foundation and prerequisite of analysis seismic response of the metro station model under soil-structure interaction.Dynamic response of metro station within soil-structure interaction under seismic loading is studied, to get some meaningful conclusions compared to free field. In the design and construction process, it should be taken into account. Some of these conclusions are got only by calculation of three-dimensional model. Therefore, Metro station model of three dimensional finite element analysis on the seismic performance evaluation and design is necessary. Metro station is taken structure optimization at last. In the prerequisite of ensuring structural safety, the project is more economical.
