A Reseach About The General Planning Of Xi’an Hogwarts Agricultural Park

With the improvement of living standards, people have developed a strong taste for thequality of life. The traditional sightseeing could not meet people’s need for high-quality life.In responding to this need, the concepts of recreational and agricultural park have appearedon the scene. Based on the unique production and living style of farmers and the typicalecological environment in rural areas, to make full use of the rich natural and culturallandscapes and the farming production as well, recreational agriculture, as a new industrywith multi-functions, is to provide the society with a featured recreational style to let peoplefully enjoy the beautiful scenery in rural areas, experience local life style and culturallandscape, practice farming, and conduct science education.With the Wizarding World of Harry Potter as the theme and supported by modernagricultural technology, Hogwarts is a modern agricultural park with integrated functions,such as agricultural production, cultivation and breeding, modern greenhouse, advancedtechnological demonstration and featured agricultural products exhibition, popular scienceeducation, agriculture sightseeing tourism and leisure vacation. The construction of the Parkis to accelerate the development of Caotan Ecological Industrial Park, transform traditionalagricultural structure and promote the development of ecological agriculture and tourism. Theproject will make full use of the advantages in terms of its location, transportation conditionand natural resources, introduce domestic and foreign agricultural high-tech, conductintensive exhibition of new varieties and facilities, ultimately promote economic developmentand environmental protection in Caotan Ecological Industrial Park of Xi ’an Economic andTechnological Development Zone.In this paper, after a thorough research on the development of leisure agriculture inrecent years and carefully and comprehensively investigation of the basic documents aboutthe park, we developed ideas about the general situation and planning thoughts of the park,and elaborated the new developmental directions and thoughts about leisure agriculture, suchas combining theme creativity with agricultural products. The purpose is to introducedomestic and foreign d agricultural high-tech, conduct intensive exhibition of new varietiesand facilities, and ultimately promote economic development and environmental protection inCaotan Ecological Industrial Park of Xi ’an Economic and Technological Development Zone. Finally, we made a specific plan about the park: it will be divided into the core area, modernagricultural demonstration area, modern recreational area, mysterious and adventurous area,and tourism service area. Recreational agriculture, agricultural experience, Wizarding cultureof Harry Potter, and classical culture in the Middle Ages will be elegantly integrated together,thus to give tourists unique experience. In the end, the planning of tourism, infrastructure, andecology were also introduced. These plans are to guarantee the smooth operation, touristsflow, and ecological and environmental protection of the park.
