The panel structure is the half prefabricated and half cast-in-place overall plate residencewith loading internal and external wall panels, floor and roof panels as main prefabricatedmembers, and with cast-in-plate concrete members, such as concrete foundation, constructionalcolumns and ring beams. The members of the plate residential structures are standardizedproduced at the factory, and are assembled by hoisting. The panel residential structure will bemore and more applied to multiple dwelling with the advantage of the green environmentalprotection and short construction period. It completely meets the trend in the housing industry.In this paper, the theory of the finite element is as the main design method to analysis theforce-deformation of the plate structure, and to provide a theoretical basis for the plate structureresidential design and calculation.The wall panels and floor of the panel residential structure are the main bearing carriers.Panel structure is box-type structure composed by the plate members. Based on the structuralfeatures of this box-type structure, we use a new box-type shell element to simulate it. Themain idea of this topic is that considering the wall panel and floor mainly bear the internal andexternal force, and correspondingly produce internal and external deformation of the panel,Column in the analysis is referenced by the superposition of two dimensional beam elementand one dimensional rod units, Here we consider that in the panel structure,the panel adoptsthe superposition of internal plane stress and external thin sheet bending unit. Through ananalysis of the two states of the panel, we conclude that the internal plane stress doesn’tcouple with external thin sheet bending in the mathematical equations. Based on that the platehas the characteristics of box structure, we define the new unit as the box shell unit and usethe unit for calculating the stress and deformation of the plate structure.Through the adoption of box shell element, this topic improve the program to analysisthe no structural column CS plate residential structure model of Tianjin University, Resultsshow that the box shell element can better analysis the plate residential structure. Thesepapers contrasts the box shell with solid65entity unit in the ansys, concluding that thecomputational efficiency in the case of obtain the same precision greatly improve. This newbox-type shell element is a generalized displacement corresponding element. Study shows the element can pass patch test. And has the character of equal parameter element. Therefore,simulating the panel structure with the box-type shell elements has the advantages of simplesubdivision and shortcut in analysis and calculation.
