Fast development of the electric power and electrical industry, the preparationof some embedded components require the application of the high dielectric materialin order to meet the development needs of miniaturization and high performace in theintegrated circuits, however, single inorganic and organic materials do not meet thedemand of comprehensive performance. This article attempts to prepare thepolymer-ceramic composite materials prepared by adding high dielectric ceramicsinto polyimide substrate, to increase the dielectric properties of composite material. In this paper, firstly, the calcium copper titanate (CCTO) and Zr-doped CCTZOceramic fillers were prepared with nitrates as raw materials via a sol-gel method andthe double sintering technology; Secondly, the PI film had been prepared by usingtwo-step synthesis method, and thermal imidization heating nodes were ensured bythermogravimetic analysis (TGA); Besides, the CCTO/PI and CCTZO/PI compositefilms had been successfully fabricated with different content of CCT(Z)O ceramicsas fillers via the in-situ polymerization and ascertained thermal imidization synthesisprocess; Then, the microstructures of CCT(Z)O ceramics and PI composite filmswere characterized by the Fourier infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM).Finally, the dielec tric properties of CCT(Z)O ceramic samples and differentseries CCT(Z)O/PI composite films, which include the relation with the dielectricprope rties of PI compo site films and freq uency, temp erature, ceramic ty pes andceramic content, were measured and analysized systematicly by using the Alpha-Abroadcast dielectric spectrum instrument and Agilent4294A impedance measurementmold. The results showed that CCTO ceramic possessed gaint dielectric constant2.2×105, and doping Zr in CCTO ceramic could greatly reduce the dielectric loss ofCCTO and improve particle size uniformity. In addition, the dielectric properties of PI composite films were influenced differently by the factors of frequency, temperature, ceramic types and content.
