Abstract/Summary:
Port logistics has been achieving rapid development under the push of economic globalization, but there is a great gap with port logistics status of developed countries in China, such as imperfect port logistics network hub, lack of reasonable multimodal transportation and decentralized planning and operation of the port logistics network. Domestic logistics and international trade logistics of port logistics have a great development space, because there are18000kilometers coast and110000kilometers inland waterway in China. If port logistics is built large network hub, developed multimodal transport network operation system, strengthen connect of the hub and multimodal transportation facilities and gave play to overall effect of multimodal transportation, which will promote development of port logistics.The main work and results are as follows:(1)This paper systematically analyzes the research situation about multimodal transportation and hub and spoke theory, and explores the integration application of multimodal transportation and hub and spoke network about system planning of port logistics.(2)Mathematical models of port logistics multimodal transportation are built by integrating transportation cost, conversion cost and punishment cost of time based the comparison of various modes of transportation.(3)Mathematical models of port logistics multimodal transportation network based on extended hub and spoke theory integrate multimodal transportation and extended hub and spoke network. This models combine direct transportion and transhipment traffic through the hub of extended hub and spoke network, and consider transportation modes of multimodal transportation. Finally, mathematical models synthetically analyze hub location, transportation route choice and transportation mode choice. (4)It dosen’t only ensure the population diversity but also avoid the local optimum that model solution algorithms use Tabu Search algorithm and improved Genetic Algorithm. Combining TS algorithm and improved GA enhances the global search and local search ability. Models are solved with MATLAB computing platform, and which will achieve the optimal network operation scheme of models.(5) This paper takes an enterprise for instance to verify port logistics multimodal transportation network based on extended hub and spoke theory. Example results show that port logistics multimodal transportation network operation cost is reduced by45.8%, but port logistics multimodal transportation network based on extended hub and spoke theory is reduced by57.8%. So this paper is verified the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed network operation models, and the enterprise has a certain guiding significance to the case practice.
