Design And Construction Key Technology Research Of The Precast Reinforced Concrete Culverts

Traditional culvert design and construction has problems with poor structural carrying capacity, long construction period, high cost and the hard-controlled quality, at the same time, the culverts and the embankments construction are interfere with each other. By technological innovation, the author proposed a full set of precast reinforced concrete culvert design and construction technology. The technology will change the culvert site-pouring process to precast, and thus, engineering design and site construction work closely with each other. Its advantage lies in the good engineering security, reliable quality, low production cost, beautiful appearance, fast construction progress, and easy to manage the project. The main work done were as the following:1.Based on the summary of problems of tradional culvert,the paper here proposed one kind of strctures,namely Prefabricated reinforced concrete cover culvert.and also discussed the engineering feasibility study of the technology, the overall design of the culvert structure.2.Theory of comparative analysis of the existing culvert earth pressure has been done, and the paper here demonstrated that culvert which excavated on the new fill roadbed belong to the "semi-pit buried" culvert, considering the precast cover culverts’earth pressure characteristics, and giving some reasonable advice for the calculation of earth pressure on the top of the culvert.3.Based on the plate element method and finite element software,the paper analyzed the precast reinforced concrete cover culverts from different oblique angles, different wide-span ratio.The paper focused on the mechanical characteristics of precast reinforced concrete skew culverts, and came up with the related principles.4.In this paper, a full set of design drawings for prefabricated reinforced concrete cover culverts under normal conditions were given.5.Combined with engineering examples, precast concrete cover culverts,specific construction technology and construction of critical control points were raised, and posed the advantages and disadvantages of comparative analysis with traditional culvert construction process.The main results of this paper were included in the Hunan Province local standards,"prefabricated reinforced concrete culvert" DB43/T757-2013.
