Considering the transitional housing adaptability design can extend the use of time, also can better meet the housing distribution of different property buyers demand.Aiming at these problems, this paper first defines the research background and significance, defines the concept of transitional housing, indoor space and residential adaptability. Secondly, the transitional housing related content design of interior space adaptability, applicable objects, including the transitional housing internal space dimensions and area, residential adaptability comparison and influence of the adaptive design elements. Again, as the basis of Changchun City, visited a lot of residential area. Finally, according to research the problems put forward a series of targeted measures and solving methods.However, transitional housing adaptability design of interior space is a broad and complex research topic, they need more people involved, to solve China’s current transitional housing not adaptive, realize the healthy development of housing.
