CEFR is the first sodium cooled fast reactor in China。Passive residual heat removalsystem (PRHRs) is the main safety design. In order to obtain the main characteristic ofPRHRs under accident conditions, a real-time simulating system is developed by combinationof JTomeret code and self developing code. First of all, the models of the main loop、thesecond loop and PRHRs is built by JTopmeret. Because some functions which is needed inthe main work can’t be realized in JTopmeret code, a series of functional modules isdeveloped by myself, such as the pump idler turn module、the decay heat calculation moduleand air natural circulation module. The functional modules are then coupled into the modelsbuilt by JTopmeret. Finally, the real-time simulating system under accident condition isobtained. Through error analysis of accident condition and steady-state condition, it isreasonable to believe the correctness of the system. With the assumption of blackout condition, a company of conclusions are acquired.(1)The mass flow in the main loop and second loop decrease rapidly. But the mass flow inPRHRs increase obviously with opening of export damper. A steady natural convection isbuilt in1000seconds.(2) The temperature and pressure of the main loop and PRHRs do notexceed their safety value.(3) The temperature varies with different condition of PRHRs.PRHRs plays an important role in CEFR.Under accident condition, the real-time simulating system takes the main loop、thesecond loop and PRHRs into consideration, whose natural convection influences the decayheat removing. The results are helpful for the study of accidents in CEFR. At the same time, itcan be used for the training of operators in CEFR..
