| As a new green light source, LED has a variety of excellent features in the street lightingarea. With the “National Semiconductor Lighting Project†and “Ten City Ten ThousandTights†Semiconductor lighting demonstration project runing, the world has entered a goldenage of the LED lighting. Especially in traditional street lamps always use high pressuresodium or metal halide lamp, which have low light colors as well as uneven illumination andsome other shortcomings. These will cause zebra on the road, also cause bad effects on roadlighting. The LED has many advantages such as control light color, small size, easy to installand second optical design, etc. The method as to use the advantages of LED on street lampsdesign, is of great significance.This thesis focusing on road lighting conditions, basing on the characteristics of LEDlight sources, using optical design software and the distribution curve analysis software, haddesigned and optimized a secondary optical lens which can change the LED light distributionto achieve perfect lighting effects. The major results obtained are following:1. First summarize the development on the street lighting and dynamic of domestic andabroad. Investigates and analyzes the street lighting standards, characteristics of street lightingand the lighting goals to be obtained.2. Introduces the installation method of street light, giving out the actual parameter testmethod on street lighting. According to specific road conditions, select a suitable source forlamps.3. Based on the mapping principle of the Polar Candela Distribution, according toparameters of single LED, a kind of secondary optical lens which used transmission opticaldesign methods had been designed, The designed lens can convert the Lambert distribution ofthe LED to Bat wing distribution, in other words, change the round light spot to rectanglelight spot. Also very high light output efficiency can be got simultaneously.4. Using lighting design software TracePro, distribution curve is obtained. UsingDIALUX to analysis the distribution curve, comparing with the target of light distribution, theresults show the design realized the illumination goal ultimately.5. Analyzed the other major factors in an actual street lamps, which affect the practicalillumetry effect. |
