| With the advent of the energy crisis and the environmental crisis, the wholeworld has an urgent need for renewable clean energy, as well as the electric vehiclesindustry. Lithium ion battery currently has got international attention as the new cleanenergy, which has high operating voltage, high specific energy, light weight, longcycle life, no memory effect, low self-discharge and pollution-free, etc. and hasalready been applied to all aspects of people’s lives, especially widely used in digitalproducts and electric vehicles. However, lithium ion battery also has somedisadvantages, such as: low capacity and poor consistent performance, which willseriously affect the application of lithium battery, therefore, preparation of highcapacity and good consistent performance of lithium ion battery will be a newchallenge of the lithium ion battery industry.In this paper, lithium ion battery was been prepared using lithium manganeseoxide as the cathode material, discussed the critical processes on the performance ofthe lithium ion battery, such as flexible packaging, electrolyte, the drying method ofpole pieces, the positive and negative dressings ratio and the storage state of charge,etc, proposed the best process parameters, and evaluated the electrochemicalproperties of the prepared lithium ion battery, the theory has a important practicalsignificance.Flexible packaging materials is the basic of lithium ion battery, which has a greatimpact on the performance of lithium ion battery, by the comparison of the variousaspects of performance, model D aluminum-plastic composite membrane was beenselected as the packaging materials of the lithium battery; the electrolyte is animportant component of lithium battery, the paper studied the type and content of theelectrolyte on the performance of the lithium ion battery, determined that the type ofelectrolyte is electrolyte B, the optimal amount of electrolyte injection is125g;through the pole pieces rebound experiments, the method to dry the pole pieces wasbeen determined, ensured the forming, appearance and performance of lithium battery;the positive and negative dressings ratio was proposed, by setting the positive andnegative dressings ratio can improve the consistent performance of lithium ion battery,the lithium ion batteries which have the same positive and negative dressings ratiohave a high degree of consistent performance at the aspects of voltage platform, the voltage across the value, the internal resistance and voltage-capacity curve, and withthe value of the positive and negative dressings ratio increases, the discharge capacityand internal resistance of the lithium battery increases, the cycle performance reduces,this theory has a certain production guiding significance; the study of the storage stateof charge of the lithium battery show that the electric charge retention rate is thehighest when stored with zero state of charge of large capacity lithium battery,proposed the storage condition of large capacity lithium battery.Lithium ion battery is prepared in accordance with the best process, the firstdischarge capacity is21776.0mAh, the voltage platform is about3.8V, capacity andvoltage played normal; the capacity attenuated to20115.0mAh after500cycles,capacity retention rate is90.2%; at-20℃the discharge capacity is18928.5mAh,which is the83.2%of the normal temperature, at55℃the discharge capacity is21066.1mAh, the capacity retention ratio is96.4%. In summary, the prepared lithiumion battery has a good performance. |
