According to research of the series-parallel motion simulation platform and the requirements of field experiments, a structural model of the motion simulation platform is established by SolidWorks. The reasonableness of structure is verified through the theory of space agencies and simulated by ADAMS. The Jacobin matrix between the rod length and the position, velocity, acceleration of the motion simulation platform is established. Using a method of combination of an axis tilt sensor and a linear displacement transducer to verify the accuracy of the position and its uniqueness. An abstract model of the ball joints is established. Hardware design and simulation are completed. The actual processing and control units are done based on after the design of theoretical simulation platform, which is prepared for the field experiments of laser communication.
