Taikong Panel is a new type assembled wallboard of industrial making. It’s composed of cold-formed steel, the foam cement and mortar. It includes all the excellent properties like light weight, heat insulation, sound insulation. It also has outstanding performance in energy-saving and emission-reduction and industrialized construction. Study on seismic performance of single and bolt connected Taikong Panel was conducted to investigate its mechanical behavior when used in multi-storied building, and improve design theory of Taikong Panel. This paper studied the result of three horizontal cyclic loading tests of Taikong Panel. The tests included single pane test, four-bolt-connection-joint panel test and three-bolt-connection-joint panel. Panel’s failure process and failure mode were observed, load-displacement curves and skeleton curves were also recorded. Panel’s bearing capacity, stiffness degradation curve, ductility and energy-dissipation capacity are studied. Experimental results show that three groups of panel have same failure process and failure mode. Comparing with single pane, there were great bearing capacity and stiffness increase of two kinds of bolt-connection panel, while their ductility was greatly reduced. The single panel has better ductility. Two kinds of bolt-connection panel have same performance in various aspects, it shows that the number of bolt-connection joint has little influence on connection panel’s mechanical performance.Based on the study of tests result, general finite element software ANSYS was used to analyze bolt’s shearing force of bolt-connection panel. According to stiffness and deformed shape equivalent of panel, simplified single panel’s finite element model, and calculated connecters’ shear force and moment. The analysis results showed that each bolt’s shear force was smaller than its bearing capacity, connection joints were not damaged, which was the same as test result. It showed that the equivalent method was reasonable to calculate connection force.
