In this paper, a study of vibration characteristics for AGARD445.6standard wing model is calculated by a loose coupling method, using ABAQUS+APAME solvers. Afterwards the results are compared with results from p-k method. It appears to prove that the coupling method is available to compute the vibration. Two methods have been used for studying the flutter characteristics. One of them is p-k method, which can be used to compute the flutter frequency and flutter speed. Compared with experimental date, the p-k method results have been proved right and practical. The other one is loose coupling method, which contains the fluid calculation and solid calculation. Unsteady aerodynamic force, the fluid parts, is calculated by doublet lattice formulation. The dynamic response of the solid structure is computed by ABAQUSIn this paper, the calculation results show the oscillatory displacement and stress distribution under the condition of aerodynamics. It can be found that the results from fluid-solid coupling method in this paper are matched well with p-k method.
