At present, the on-spot and teaching test-bed used in track vehicle staking, such as JZ-7, DK-1, only possesses simple functions of testing the comprehensive performance of railway vehicle braking, valuating the property of the single valve, which lays particular emphasis on testing braking system just during overhauling period but ignoring the effect caused by the speed of wheels and weight of axis during the running period of track vehicle, and that the research and development related to the issue haven’t been started up. Therefore, it is urgent and important to develop the test-bed for the purpose of checking out braking system on track vehicles.This paper focus on the research and development of track vehicle braking system, beginning with the related theory of foundation, through detailed analysis in the main functions and the basic structure of track vehicle braking system, the paper puts forward even more advanced design for the system. At the first, we carry out the design for operational principle, layout the general principle scheme and complete subsystem designs in which including trailer braking gas circuit and electric circuit, high-speed train braking gas circuit and electric circuit, measure and control system, during the design process, we give enough consideration on the effect caused by vehicle loading, vehicle air spring, height automatic regulating valve, differential pressure valve and weighing valve; secondly, according to the main design parameters, we carry out the hardware selection and configuration for the braking system; finally, based on the Lab VIEW software, we make it clear what the primary mission of software design used in this braking system is, and that complete the interface design on the upper monitor of the simulation system, main program design, static experimental measure and control program, dynamic state operational experimental measure and control program, experimental measure and control program for high-speed braking, experimental measure and control program for braking in emergency, experimental measure and control program for anti-skidding, experimental measure and control program for stage-relieving, experimental program for stage braking.The test-bed for track vehicle braking system consists of three parts:microcomputer-controlling direct-connection electric-pneumatic braking system (including direct-connection braking system of high-speed train, direct-connection braking system of trailer), vehicle experimental simulation-system, measure and control system. These parts provide a operational environment for microcomputer-controlling direct-connection electric braking system, which can simulate the main working process of track vehicle pneumatic braking system.The research result prove that the test-bed can realize omnibearing simulation to the working process of track vehicle braking system, which fully support project training of related specialty in many colleges or universities, it is even more important the equipment provides advanced domestic test-bed for track vehicle braking system.
