Nowadays, with the unceasing mutual crisscrossing of science technology areas and control areas, network has gradually appeared and applied to the urban rail traffic planning, the high speed emus designing, the train real-time monitoring and many other train control and design field. The main tasks of the train control system with network are receiving the control signals in real time, sending the control signals in real time and monitoring to the system in real time. Its ultimate purpose is to ensure the safety, the reliability and the stable operation of the train. Train networked control system fully reflects the simple structure, powerful function, remote monitoring, good robust performance and so on. But there are some phenomena such as signal time-delay, data packet loss and data packet sequence disorder in the train networked control systems. These various phenomena caused by the network can make the stability of the train network control system decline seriously. So this article focuses on the network signal time-delay problem, the main tasks as follows:1. The overview of the network control system, the train network control system and the theory of robust control, introduces the research direction in this field, and describes the current research present situation of train network control system in the domestic and foreign.2. Focus on the train networked control systems with signal time delay, the problem of robust control about train networked control systems is studied. The train networked control systems with signal time delays can be modeled as the linear delay systems, based on Lyapunov stability theory and Linear Matrix Inequalities, the conditions of delay-independent robust stability are given by Riccati inequation, at the same time, the robust controllers are also designed, the simulated results are given through the numerical example, which can show the reasonable and the exactness of the proposed methods.3. Focus on the train networked control systems with uncertain signal time delay, the problem of robust control about train networked control systems is studied. The train networked control systems with signal time delays can be modeled as the linear delay systems, based on Lyapunov stability theory and Linear Matrix Inequalities, the conditions of delay-independent robust stability are given by Riccati inequation, at the same time, the robust controllers are also designed, the simulated results are given through the numerical example, which can show the reasonable and the exactness of the proposed methods.
