As the increasing growth of the productivity and people’s needs of energy, theissue of energy-consumption becomes more and more intensive. Therefore, theenergy conservation and emission reduction have become an important strategy forthe sustainable development. Coal-fired power is the main power source in China.However, the combustion efficiency is comparatively low in our country due to theinfluence of the control strategy and the limitation of equipment. Therefore, an boilercombustion system in high efficient is in great need, which can optimize the process,improve the efficiency, low the resource consumption and reduce the pollution.This thesis puts220t/h direct-fired pulverized coal boiler as the reserch object,which is designed on the basis of the intelligent control in the power plant boilercombustion system based on the knowledge. First, the theoretical model of the boileris built according to the working principle of the pulverized coal boiler, setting thecontrol object of the main steam pressure as an example to analyze the producingprocess of the main steam pressure and the dynamic characteristics under itsexcitation. The identification of the mathematical model of the main steam pressurein boiler combustion system was finished through the combination of the two pointmethod of the step response with data fitting. Second, the genenral control plan ofthe optimization of the boiler combustion system is designed. Moreover, to get abetter controlling result, fuzzy adaptive pid controller is used. Controlling process issimulatied by MATLAB software and is compared with ordinary PID. Third, coalmill properties were studied, and the design is based on the load distribution schemeof the expert system to improve the rationality of the distribution of coal so as toincrease the feasibility of the controlling plan. Last but not the least, this design isapplied into the practice---a thermal power plant of Daqing NO.1boiler combustionoptimization control system, which had been put into use and has achieved good effect. However, it has been proved that this control strategy can improve theefficiency of coal-fired power plant and provide a promising prospect.
