There are two key issues in health monitoring, the composition of health monitoring system and the analysis of monitoring data. In this paper, the development and composition of the bridge monitoring system are mainly described. And highlighted the problem mostly concerned, damage recognition and data processing method-wavelet transform method.In signal processing, wavelet transform method is a newly recognized method in structural damage identification and data processing, which is greatly effective. In this paper some built long-term bridge health monitoring system and monitoring data are used to analyse the characteristics and variation of the monitoring system, using wavelet analysis. What mainly talked about in this paper are:(1)Brief introduction to the long-term health monitoring system of the existing bridge’s monitoring data(temperature and strain)pretreatment, and initial induction and summary of these monitoring data are present.(2)According to some relevant paper, a db30small wavelet function are mainly used in multiresolution decomposition of wavelet analysis to detected the strain and temperature data. To extract the strain and temperature sensing data,the lavers of the decomposition are chosen to be4.(3)After the data processing of strain and temperature using wavelet analysis, we try to extract the data characteristics,associated with the relevant factors in the working environment of the bridge. Besides,the difference and similarity of the monitoring data at different point are mentioned. Finally comes to some conclusions.
