Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and heavy investment ininfrastructure construction in China, high-speed railway, highway, and water resourceproject construction project develop rapidly.As an important part of traffic engineeringand hydraulic engineering, more and more railway tunnels, highway tunnels and thehydraulic tunnels will through complicated geological area and caused more geologicaldisasters for different kinds of bad geological bodies (fault, karst and underground water,gas, etc.).Limited of the tunnel project construction cycle and engineering geologyprospecting precision, advance geological prediction plays a more and more importantrole in tunnel construction to prevent the occurrence of geological disasters, reducelosses caused by geological disasters and ensure safety of tunnel construction.Since2005, due to relevant state departments’ attention, advance geologicalprediction in tunnel, as an important part in the process of tunnel construction, is specificrequired in the tender documents and implementation in the tunnel construction. Thesecreate good condition for the development of advance geological prediction in our country.However, it is common for advance geological forecast in tunnel without attach greatimportance to the basic geological conditions of tunnel. At present, the relationshipbetween bad geological interface in tunnel and the reflection wave spectrumcharacteristics is still lack of systematic research. The topic that how to combine geologyand geophysical exploration results analysis to forecast the geological situation in front ofthe working face effectively need research constantly.This article follows on the principle of combining with geophysical explorationmethod based on geological analysis. On the basis of bad geological bodies (fault fracturezone, karst cave etc.) of the geological characteristics in tunnel and the mediumcomposition variation characteristics introduced, the type and characteristic of badgeological interface in tunnel is summarized. Interface distortion is discussed on thepremise of wave reflection method detection principle. At last, different kinds of badgeological surface reflected wave spectrum characteristics is researched through contrastanalysis of ground penetrating radar simulation and the engineering examples.
