Surface treatment on architectural aluminum alloy mean more bright and smooth appearance and make the coating has great wearability and corrosion resistance. Many methods are used to do it. Anodic oxidation and electrolytic coloring is most widely used. But more and more enterprises working to this industry led to severe competition. Bringing down the cost and improving technology to increase the standard of productivity are certain things that those corportations should do.Firstly, production situation of the LPSK was deeply analyzed. The problems and measures of every procedure were researched, including degreasing, alkaline cleaning, neutralizing, anodic oxidation, electrolytic coloring, sealing, cataphoresis and solidify. Based on these study, a new process on stainless-steel coloring was constructed by orthogonal experiment, and the optimization technological conditions were:Stannous sulfate6g/L, Nickel sulfate12g/L, pH1.0, voltage15V, additive12g/L, temperature of solution20℃, sulphuric acid20g/L, coloring time120second. The results showed that the depth of color depended on the concentration of Stannous sulfate, which means that the color will be more deeply with the increasing concentration of Stannous sulfate.In addition, consistence between different areas of the same aluminum sheet will become worse with the pH raised. Furthermore, an aluminum sheet made by new process was compared with the standard sheet, which proved that new process was feasible.A study suggested that power charge was the biggest influence factor on the cost and ones from oxidation process was the most and key point of improvement by the analysis on the cost of workshop. Research told that power depleted of constant voltage process was more than constant current, and change of solution concentration, the great difference of profiles’area, heat releasing, uneven of conductive seat and inaccurate of ammeter were the major factors to result in increase of power depleted. As to these problems, some measures were offered, which gained good benefits.
