Boiler as petrochemical, power generation and other industrial processesindispensable power equipment, to study the fault diagnosis has important theoreticalsignificance and practical value. This article describes the boiler fault and diagnostictechnology development, a brief introduction to some basic troubleshooting theory,explain the basics of power plant boilers, and describes the characteristics of the boilerfault. The research projects goal is to use Bayesian network approach simplifiestroubleshooting inference mechanism, to be more efficient boiler fault diagnosis expertsystem. This paper introduces the basic theory and Bayesian network graphicalrepresentation of Bayesian networks. Introduces group tree Bayesian networkinference methods and make Bayesian theory as the theoretical basis and the corealgorithm, establish a boiler fault Bayesian network model and make the actual data asthe basis for a simple reason.This article is failure of the boiler Bayesian network model as a theoretical basisfor the design of the boiler fault diagnosis expert system software. According to expertsof the power plant demand,characteristics of the boiler running processes, expertsystem software operational processes carried out a detailed analysis to meet the aboverequirements, the design of the software. This design of the boiler fault diagnosis expertsystem requires knowledge base maintenance, fault management functions,troubleshooting features, user interface, operating instructions these five functions. Thisarticle uses VC.6.0software and MASQL software written with these five functionalboiler fault diagnosis expert system. And software for analysis and unit tests.Application examples demonstrate the fault diagnosis system in the boiler effectiveness.
