Heilongjiang power grid LLS is a large system of high technology, which cover s theeleven bureaus(factories) in our province, involving many related managementdepartments of the high pressure professional lightning protection, circuit,communication, scheduling, infrastructure and so on.With the provincial powercompany leading and engineering related units cooperating closely, adhering to theprinciple of "going step by step and quality and quantity guaranteed", we design,develop, install, run this system.According to the data of2013run, the project results from reasonable design,advanced technology and management in place.In this thunderstorm season, circuitstripped for many times due to the special climate, and the causes of the accident givenby the lightning monitoring system are accurate.The Heilongjiang power grid LLS owns accurate lightning strike points location andhigh detection efficiency, absorbing the research achievements of contemporarylightning physics, fully using the satellite technology, geographic information systemand remote sensing, remote control technology, combined with the original "time+directional" integrated positioning model, the wave propagation delay processing andoutrange timing technology.Besides the usage of LLS in power system dynamic real-time monitoring lightning,lightning failures of automatic testing and statistical analysis of lightning parameters,it also can be widely used in aerospace, military, civilian aircraft, the thunder of forestfire detection of early warning, severe weather,etc, which is a significant project fullof social and economic benefit.The paper systematically expounds its design principle, key technology, systemfunction and technical index.
