To speed up the urbanization process in China, developing small and mediumcities is a vital part, and the development of urban transport is the most importantmeasures to promote the urbanization process. For our small and medium cities, oneor a few main roads through the city, bears the main traffic flow. The bicycles, electriccars and motorcycles flow of the main road is relatively large, chaotic traffic, trafficcongestion and other episodic phenomena evident, coupled with the vehiclepopulation increases every year in recent years, the growth rate is far greater than thegrowth rate of motor vehicle roads, urban roads bear increasing traffic pressure in citytraffic. To alleviate and improve the traffic situation of small and medium cities, ordered the city to accelerate the healthy development of small and medium cities toorganize the main road traffic optimization is essential. In this thesis, the main road in Chifeng City Traffic Management as the researchobject, starting from the details of traffic control, focusing on basic traffic separationmeans to reduce conflict and improve traffic efficiency and road safety. Chifeng Cityin the survey analysis, based on road and traffic characteristics to identify the mainproblems existing main road traffic, drawing on road traffic organization ideas andprinciples, based on the proposed main road traffic organization and optimizationstrategies. Lin Lin Huang in Chifeng Songshan street in sections of grass between theroad and greet the intersection of Golden Road and the corresponding example oforganizational design optimization of traffic, according to the survey reflect the trafficproblem, turn on the road vehicle design pedestrian and road traffic has been the focusof research organizations, and the existing intersection of the canal, release and otheraspects of the improvements.
