With the continuous development of our national economy, the developmentof domestic bus technology very quickly, emerge as Yutong, Jinlong such aworld-class bus manufacturing companies. Compared with a few years ago, theblind development of passenger car industry, in recent years the domesticpassenger car product development began to gradually become more rational,most bus companies invested in product modeling starts relatively reduced,but will focus more on product performance, safety, quality of details,humanization, reliability, etc.. The first concern is the bus safety andreliability, the second is economy of vehicles (especially oil). To achievethese goals, domestic passenger vehicle enterprises on the chassis of thematching and the more lightweight body design of the human and materialresources, and in the interior is more of humanity as well as car color, tocreate a more comfortable interior environment.At the same time, along with the in-depth development of the nationaleconomy, people’s living standard continues to improve, people in differentplaces communicate and travel demand continues to increase, the quality andquantity of passenger vehicle demand is increasing, the safety and comfortrequirements than ever before requirements are stronger. On the other hand,with the continuous rise in international energy prices, the domestic rawmaterial prices continue to rise, but the prices are almost changed little,bus companies must pay more attention to cost reduction in product developmentprocess. Therefore, to achieve a more secure, more cost-effective vehicle withlow cost, has become a problem which must be solved in all domestic passengercar production enterprises. This paper proposed a fully integral bus body willbe able to solve the problem.The most obvious characteristic of body structure is to the whole car framewelding as a whole, all beams together bear from the outside world and itsown weight and impact, a structure similar to cage will be able to maximizethe protection of passengers, because the whole car frame bearing the entirevehicle load, so-called full load technology.In this paper, by Zhongtong Bus Technology Center R&D department takebus LCK6128H monocoque body development plan to launch the research as thebasis. In this thesis firstly the general layout plan for vehicle is described,which includes the design parameters for the vehicle and the vehicle performance are presented in detail, and then is the development of myLCK6128H monocoque body by detailed calculation and analysis. According tothe general layout of the models of the main design parameters of the vehicle,determine the length, height, width of vehicle, then the vehicle model, andthen apply software analysis calculation on the strength of the whole body,the results after the optimization, the focus is the lightweight design, andthen repeat the previous process by using analysis software for thecalculation of the strength of the body after the optimization, thecalculation results show that the new type of lightweight body strength andfully meet the design requirements. In the analysis through the theoreticalcalculation of the prototype vehicle test way to finish the full bearingreliability test of bus body design. The final conclusion,LCK6128H models cannot only meet the requirements of design body strength, to maximize the safetyassurance of passengers, and the vehicle’s lightweight and ride comfort, poweras compared with the pre-development model has very great progress.
