Application Research On The Marine Diesel Engine Performance By A Combustion Analyzer

As important power machinery, diesel engine plays an important role in many areas. Combustion analyzer is applying to optimize engine performance, extend and improve the function of engine test bench to meet the requirements of engine performance evaluation.At the start, This paper introduces the features, installation requirements and methods of measurement of the Switzerland-produced DEWE-2010CA portable combustion analyzer. The combustion analyzer is equipped with a sensor produced by Swiss KISTLER, cylinder pressure sensor, intake and exhaust pressure sensor, fuel pressure sensor, needle lift sensor, crank angle sensor, TDC sensor and vibration sensor need to be installed in this experiment. In consideration to the seal during installation, the cylinder pressure sensor and the upper dead point sensor design and processing of the mounting sleeve, the two sensors can share one sleeve. Fuel pressure sensor and needle lift sensors test before installation, and appropriate method is taken to eliminate the measurement channel effects.Diesel engine used in this experiment was4190diesel engine with compact structure. In this experimental, machined cylinder pressure sensor mounting sleeve and TDC sensor mounting sleeve were designed, complete installation and commissioning of each sensor of DEWE-2010CA portable combustion analyzer in4190diesel engine bench.Three different kinds injector performance test show that the nozzle diameter for the presence of diesel combustion performance impact, and0.30mm nozzle diameter have better performance.Finally, the speed parameters were completed4190Diesel60%load, the test parameters under different load conditions1000r/min when burning. Get to60%of4190diesel engine speed characteristics of the load, and the combustion performance under different load conditions1000r/min when the diesel engine is analyzed in order to further characterize the performance of the4190diesel engine.
