The Application Research And Implementation Of VDR In Mobile Offshore Platform

According to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) the new provisions of article V/20.2clause in the SOLAS convention, request ship installation of ship Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) commonly known as Marine black box. VDR is used to record all kinds of data, including radar images, real-time communication records, each important equipment operation parameters and so on, when the vessel is on the navigation, to find out and analyze the reasons for the accident, after its occurring.
