Public space plays an important role in people’s life, urban public space in China hasexperienced an early, climax and decline and recovery process, it tends to mature, basicly.However, there are still many undesirable places. There has been great progress indesign technology on the study of urban public space, however, little research on theconstruction of public space of small towns, Management, in particular, is much rarer. Thedevelopment of small towns has always been very slowly, the construction of the publicspace has its own features. As a starting point, based on analyzing the advantages anddisadvantages of construction practice of medium and small urban public space, Thisarticle from the perspective of managers, planning and design, construction andmanagement of public space, and the problems existing in the running, Proposed theconstruction of public space strategy for small towns in China.
