In recent years, the spatial effect of deep foundation pit gradually attracts the engineering and academic’s attention. Deep foundation and its supporting structure is a three-dimensional structural system of the length, width, and depth. According to the related standards, it is often simplified as a two-dimensional plane strain problem analysis in the general design and research. It can not fully reflect the effect of the shape and dimensions of the pit space and therefore requires to be analyzed from the angle of the three-dimensional space.This article describes the theoretical calculation of the effect of pit space. For the Handan area of a pile-anchor support engineering instance, it will be simulated strictly according to the actual construction model excavation supporting by using finite difference FLAC3D software. Through the analysis on the model horizontal displacement and vertical displacement, as well as its comparison with the measured values, the method has been proved whether it is effective and feasible or not. And through the changes analysis of the displacement, it reveals the deformation of foundation the pit with long, wide variation and the scope of the space effect.In order to further verify the effect range of pit space and the regularity, on the basis of the actual project examples, the author establish5model by changing the size of the pit. Through to calculate to FLAC3D their simulation, as well as the resulting stress cloud and displacement contours, we can see the change trend. Through the FLAC3D numerical and the analysis and comparison, it can be further verify that its sphere of influence of the spatial effect of the pit and variation.For the next research, we can try to reduce the number of support within the sphere of influence of the support under the premise of guaranteeing the security and stability. You can also study the different regular pattern of the spatial effects in the case of different forms of support and considering the groundwater.Currently, the research of the spatial effect of deep foundation pit is not perfect and the actual applications are less. I hope it will provide useful recommendations and reference that this research about the spatial effect of deep foundation pit for the design and construction of excavation support.
