The Research Of Application Design About Vertical Greening In Urban Public Space

Accelerated process of urbanization，With the rapid development of urbanization,the problems of density of building, sharp cutoff of available resources and damage ofecological environment are ones that cities confront. Urban public green space wasreduced sharply and the two-dimensional plane green area can not meet people’sdemand for green and urban ecological balance. As a result, the vertical greening hasbecome the important way to solve the tension of land used for urban greening. Verticalgreening can not only ease urban ecological deterioration, but to broaden the peopleliving in cities and the natural close to opportunity. Urban vertical greening has becomean inevitable trend in the current urban construction and development. This paper takesvertical greening application design as a breakthrough to discuss and research.At present, the range excellent domestic vertical greening design application isvery small, and the reasons are that architects are lack of understanding of plantgreening technology and usually tend to exclude plant landscaping in architecturaldesign, whereas although designers are familiar with greening and landscapearchitecture technology, but the understanding of architecture and design is not ideal. Inthe face of this situation, it requires the architects and landscape designers to strengthencommunication and cooperation, thus they can gradually solve the problems of theurban public space vertical greening at present stage.This paper studied and analyzed the ecological effects of urban vertical greeningon the issue of the problems existing at present. From the perspective of environmentalart design, the author thinks and analyzes of the design strategy to solve the existingproblems of vertical greening, among which the focus is on analysis of the new greenform principle of plant selection, and the application of auxiliary building, theadvantage of new type of vertical greening technology. This paper takes the themepavilion wall of Shanghai EXPO as a case for analysis, analyzing its composition forms,using methods such as colors, material type, demonstrated the technology for the newtype of vertical greening urban public space and greatly promote the popularity ofvertical greening. Finally, this paper summarizes the research achievements, as well asto the prospect of urban public space of vertical greening in the future development.
