| The present research studied the simulation visualization techniques aboutcapability characteristics of stratospheric airship.Simulation visualization system of stratospheric airship was designed anddeveloped. The system satisfied the need that aviation experiment of stratosphericairship. The system frame was established using MFC foundation database and VegaPrime. The system’s interior and exterior connections was designed, the functionmodels was demarcated. The entities, scenes, environment, visions and fly cycle time inthis system were configured by configurable documents. So this system was universal.Some important simulation visualization techniques bear upon capability andcampaign efficiency of stratospheric airship was researched. For instance, built up thelandform about takeoff port by Terra Vista; adopted DOF method to make the entitiesmore lifelike; normed the configurable documents by XML marking language; visionsbrainpower management was carries out; function application of the terrace of VegaPrime was expanded.Power’s nephogram of stratospheric airship’s solar battery was displayed throughVega Prime’s coordinate conversion and calculation of solar incidence angle. Windfield that near takeoff port was simulated based on theories of3D data fieldvisualization.The flag and the airship’s ballonet were modeled flexibly, then were simulated anddisplayed in this system, adopting the mass-spring model and numerical solution onEurope method. The physical and dynamic attribute was showed in simulationvisualization system.Finally,the simulation visualization techniques that have been realized wereinlayed to the system, the requirement of design for airship was satisfied. |
