The development of marine diesel engine is a complex systematic engineering, thecomplexity of products and its development process related diversity of department andresource, which urgent need for the standardized and scientific of the development process.By coordinating and resolving interdisciplinary conflict, the development time and cost ofmarine diesel engine can be reduced, and then the quality and overall performance of themarine diesel engine can be improved. Traditional disorderly way of management has beena serious impediment to the improvement of the design efficiency, and the paper storagemanagement also seriously reduces the reuse of valuable experienced data, which is veryunfavorable for knowledge management, such ills indicates the need for newer and morerational management methods and systems. In this paper, considering marine dieselco-development process, analyze the departments and business activities relationshipsbetween departments, carry out the study of marine diesel engine co-development workflow,and supply a standardized and scientific management model for the product developmentprocess in this area, the main research content and work as follows:(1) After analyzing the functional requirements and implementation patterns of DieselProduct Cooperative Development Workflow Management System(DPCD-WfMS), thearchitecture of DPCD-WfMS is designed, the key techniques such as business process staticprogramming, workflow modeling and workflow reconstructing of the system aresummarized, which laid a theoretical foundation for the study of the system.(2) Focus on the business characteristic and development process of marine diesel, thestrategy, principle and steps of implementing business process static programming arestudied, the design approval process of marine diesel piston is taken as example to explainthe feasibility and superiority of implementing business process static programming withworkflow.(3) Focus on the multidimensional characteristics of diesel Co-development workflowmodel, the organization model and resource model are analyzed, the Co-developmentprocess of marine diesel piston is taken as example to elaborate the connotation andmethods of workflow model modeling that distribute in spatial three-dimension. Theworkflow model is the basis to realize workflow management system.(4) At present, the noise of workflow log is not strong, by measuring the activity dependencies of workflow process and the mapping between workflow model instance andcausality matrix, computational-intelligence-based workflow reconstructing algorithm isproposed in this paper, which realized the reconstructing of workflow process model.Finally, the Diesel Product Cooperative Development Workflow Management Systemplatform is developed and demonstrated, which validated the technologies and methods putforward in this paper.
