With the development of traffic construction in our country, more bridges havebeen built. In the bridge engineering, the pile in service period should support notonly the static load generated by the upper structure dead load, but also the significantperiodic under axial cyclic loading caused by long-term traffic. The effects of cyclicloading will cause the fatigue effect to the soil around the pile. In the design, thebearing and deformation characteristics of pile gradually received attention underaxial cyclic loading. At present, characteristics and control method of pile undercyclic loading is still not clear, therefore, it is of great theoretical and practicalsignificance to study the bearing and deformation properties of the pile under axialcyclic loading.This paper based on a first simply-supported and after continuous bridge inGansu province. Do some research bearing and deformation properties of the pileunder long-term cyclic loading by summarizing the previous model test data andnumerical simulation method of finite element program ofANSYS.The main contents of this paper are: Based on the theoretical analysis has beenmade of the specification and the actual situation of traffic load on the bridgeengineering, established the relationship between the number of traffic load and cyclicload time; By summary and analyze the relevant model test of domestic andinternational and the numerical simulation of finite element program, studying thecharacteristics of deformation and bearing capacity of pile under the different cyclicloading. In order to analyze the deformation and the bearing characteristics undercyclic loading of the pile when the load grade changed. studying the cyclic behaviorof pile foundation under different static loads, in order to analyze the deformation andthe bearing characteristics under cyclic loading of the pile when the upper bridgedemolition and reconstruction.At last, this paper studies the pile bearing and cumulative settlement mechanismunder cyclic loading, will help to make up the design constraints, to provide a reliabletheoretical basis for improving the safety performance of pile under long-term cyclicloading.
