For the past few years, with the continued demand for the energy sources in countriesof the world, wind energy sources have become one of the main emphases on thedevelopment of energy. The key grid connection techniques in the wind power and whetherthe electrical energy transferred from wind can satisfy social demand and national relevanttechnical regulation is important for the theory and reality, and it is also the topic of thispaper.Firstly this paper introduces the basic components of wind farm and technicalregulations about connecting wind farm to grid, and then presents the structure of DFIG,their operating principle, control method and control circuit about their variable speed butconstant frequency for power output. And this paper elaborates in detail power qualityproblems including voltage deviation, voltage fluctuations and flicker, harmonic wave,their generation and harm. In addition, according to the realistic wind power project andsimulation software PSASP, this paper calculates the indicators of power quality, gives thesimulation results and conclusion analysis. Meanwhile, with the specificity of wind farm,the paper introduces the negative sequence influence comes from traction loads of electricrailway, points out the calculative method, tells using the unbalance of three phase voltagesto judge whether the negative sequence influence satisfies the national standard and alsogives the simulation results. Finally, in order to meet the voltage regulation of wind farmand improve transfer efficiency, this paper also analyses the calculation of reactivecompensation and simulation results according to the specificity of reactive compensationof wind farm and then chooses the appropriate SVG.This paper introduces the concrete steps and parameters configuration in thesimulations procedure, and contrasts the simulations results with national standard of powerquality to point out the comments and advices. This paper also proves the correctness of thecalculation method and simulation process used in this study.
