Product shape design defects andprocess design flaw has become the vehicle development bottleneck in the process ofvehicle development, for example, before the process design need to determine flangingheight, the flanging point of view, as well as the corresponding addendum shape, but alsoto determine the trimming line position, Traditional methods can only rely on theexperience of the technical staff and simple geometric method, it is often likely to causeflanging shape unreasonable, and the position of trim line is not accurate, so the fieldtryout is relatively difficult. With the development of computer technology, finite elementinverse algorithm can help designers to find the potential defects in the design phase ofproducts, improve design efficiency.
