When there exists soft soil across the highway structure section, due to the nature of thesoft soil, high compressibility, poor permeability, potential hazard of post constructionsettlement, and low carrying capacity, therefore, based on the requirements of the roadperformance of the foundation, softground need for reinforcement, improve the foundation ofstrength, and control foundation settlement within a certain range. Based on the projectXing-heng highway, in an extensive survey analysis on the domestic highway Bridgeheadroadbed diseases, by theoretical analysis, field settlement observation, systematically study,the system of highway CFG Pile Treatment bridgehead settlement of soft ground controlmethod,provide the basis for treatment of softground.This paper studies include the following aspects(1)Based on the investigation and analysis onthe causes and treatment measures of the foreign and domestic bridge transition sectiondifferential settlement, it can be concluded that the bridge transition section disease can bebroadly summarized into the subgrade overall sliding failure, step difference betweenabutment and retailing backwall fill, subgrade depression(differential settlement)and thedisease transferred to the end of the slab,etc. Aiming at the disease, scope of application andits use of effects of methods such as impact rolling, composite pile in subgrade settlementtreatment, the geosynthetics in subgrade settlement treatment, dynamic compaction insubgrade settlement treatment, surcharge preloading in subgrade settlement treatment aresummarized, which can improve and perfect the existing control method for settlement.(2)Based on research and analysis on the subgrade soil settlement deformation mechanism,combining the real project of Xing Heng highway in Hebei Province and setting highway softfoundation reinforced by CFG pile as an example, establish finite element numericalmodel,and compare and analyze controlling effect of CFG pile treating highway softfoundation settlement in different pile length,pile modulus and pile spacing, which candetermine the effects of different treatment programs controlling highway soft foundationsettlement and lay the foundation for the establishment of reasonable Treatment programs..(3)Through construction and post-construction foundation settlement of Xing Heng highway testroad observation, determine the accuracy of model computing by establishing finite elementmodel for the construction of subgrade settlement calculation and comparing with theobserved data, and estimate settlement in15year combined with the observation data of theafter construction settlement, then provide the basis for differential settlement control of XingHeng highway bridge head.(4) Relying on handling Soft Foundation engineering of Xing Heng highway, establish the soft foundation test road implement scheme and settlementobservation test program controlled by isostatic subsidence, then, provide reference for softfoundation transition section isostatic settlement control standard formulation andoptimization of settlement treatment scheme by comparing and analyzing different schemetreatment effect.
