This paper refers to the design of production planning and scheduling of engineeringmachinery hydraulic pipe fittings.With the coming era of the economic globalization and the knowledge globalization,efficient production is increasingly important, especially the hydraulic pipe fittings, as animportant component of the engineering machinery, its production planning and schedulingplays an core role in the information management. Based on the information managementsystem of hydraulic pipe fittings Machinery Co. Ltd., in view of the present status ofproduction planning and scheduling in hydraulic pipe fittings production of engineeringmachinery enterprises, several key problems on production planning and productionscheduling are studied.First of all, on the basis of the analysis of system architecture, supported by basic data,the Master Production Schedule(MPS) model and its adjustment model are established. Thealgorithm is realized with Delphi7.0programming platform. Through decomposition ofMPS, weekly production plan and daily production plan model have been set up, andmodel is realized in practical production. Among them the Rough-cut Capacity planning istaken into consideration. Then the shop scheduling problem is described, appling thegenetic algorithm in job shop scheduling problem. Finally the design of the productionmanagement system of hydraulic pipe fittings Machinery Co. Ltd. is completed.System used in the actual production, not only conducive to the establishment of astandardized management system, but also improve the enterprise production andmanagement level, besides, it has the certain model significance and use value for normalproduction management of engineering machinery hydraulic pipe fittings manufacturingindustry.
