The charge simulation method and finite element method are used to studyeffects of the frequency electric field in order to relieve contradictions betweenthe construction of transmission lines and complaints from residents. It will notonly be able to take appropriate measures as well as provide solutions, but alsoprovide a reliable basis for the select of safe distance of transmission lines. The general mathematical models of frequency electric field generated byhigh-voltage transmission lines have been established by using the chargesimulation method. The general rules of electric field distribution near groundhave been studied by the simulation analysis combined with numericalexamples. A simple and effective human model for electric field computationhas been constructed according to the physiological structural characteristics ofhuman body. The electric field equations in human body have been constructedbased on this model. The distribution of electric field internal and externalhuman body, induced voltages and amounts of induced charge have beencalculated when human body stands up-right, hands-held and with an umbrellaby using the finite element analysis software ANSYS. Three typical vehiclemodels under high-voltage transmission lines have been constructed. Therelationship between induced voltages together with amounts of induced chargeand values of external setting electric field have been analyzed by theapplication of ANSYS software. The shock effect generated by vehicles onhuman body has been analyzed from two aspects of theoretical calculations andsimulation analysis. The study indicated that there is no danger of electric shock underhigh-voltage AC transmission lines when human body stands up-right andhands-held, but human body may be shocked when he touches umbrellasaccording to the calculation results, against known results and current safetystandards. In addition, there may be a feeling of electric shock, but no morethan the body’s pain threshold, and it will not cause harm to humans whenhumans contact vehicles under high-voltage transmission lines.
