Since the1900s, the oil monitoring technology has been used for monitoring thestatus of armored equipment which indicated that the way of armored equipmentmaintaining transformed from the traditional preventive maintenance to the conditionbased maintenance. The application of this technology effectively reduces the loss ofequipment breakdown time, improves the level of equipment availability ratio, reducesthe maintenance cost and provides a guarantee for the successful completion of combatand training missions.Combined with the pre-research project supported by Beijing Institute of SpecialVehicle in “12th-Five Year” period—“study on key technologies of transmissionsystem fault monitoring”, in this paper, the development techniques of a wear statusassessing system based on the oil monitoring technology are studied, the systemframework are built based on the MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) single documentmodel and the key technologies of system development are explored.The main research works of this paper are as follows:(1) The algorithm of the wear status assessing has been analyzed in depth; a wearstatus assessing system has been developed based on Visual C++6.0platform.(2) The database of the system has been created by Microsoft SQL Server2000, andit is easily to use and operate. Users merely need to use SQL Server Enterprise Managerto create the database named ExpertSystem, the creation process is as simple as creatinga folder with specified name. The creation and maintenance work of tables in thedatabase will be done automatically by the ADO (ActiveX Data Objects) technology.(3) In addition to the username and password, three login identities have been set upcompared with the conventional login window. If you log in with different identity, youwill have different permissions.(4) The mixed programming technologies have been used to perform the intendedfunctions of the system—to read results of SPSS factor analysis by using mixedprogramming of VC and Excel, to get the best projection vector based on projectionpursuit method by using mixed programming of VC and MATCOM, to calculate theassessment thresholds based on maximum entropy through calling MATLAB Enginelibrary by VC, to output the reports of assessment rulemaking and assessment results by using mixed programming of VC and Word.The system has friendly interface, easily operation, and high efficiency. Meanwhile,the successful development of the system laid a foundation for the realization of thefollow-up diagnostic capabilities.
