Prefabricated concrete structure would be the direction of development ofconstruction industry in the future because of its high degree of industrialization,easyconstruction,and good environmental and economic benefits.The joint is the key of theprefabricated structure and also has been focused.This paper presents a new style ofconnection,steel plate hoop-bolt connection,as the connection of the joint ofprefabricated column,and researching its integrity and seismic performance by lowcyclic loading tests.Prefabricated column has low seismic capacity,part of the specimenusing high-strength composite spiral stirrups,hoping to improve seismic capacity.Design six long column specimens and two short column specimens.Long columnsset axial compression ratio,stirrup form,and production method as parameter variablesto study the work of high-strength composite spiral stirrups and feasibility of steelhoop-bolt connection.Short columns are fabricated columns confined by high-strengthcomposite spiral stirrups,set ratio of shear span to effective depth and axial compressionratio as parameter variables to study its seismic performance.Cracking, yield, destroyed process,and destroyed state of specimens was observedin the test,finishing the test data and drowning load-displacement hysteresis curves andskeleton curves of each specimen.Studying carrying capacity,ductility and energydissipation capacity of each specimen,comparison and analysis the effective to seismicbehavior of high-strength composite spiral stirrups and the reliability of steel plate hoop -bolt connection.The test prove: high-strength composite spiral stirrups can significantlyimprove the ductility and energy dissipation capacity of concrete column, it can alsoreduce the critical ratio of shear span to effective depth,and in certain extent reduce oravoid buildings collapsing caused by brittle failure of short column inearthquake;Fabricated column has about the same bearing capacity and seismic capacitycompared with cast-in-place column,its carrying capacity is slightly higher than thecast-in-place column and ductility is slightly lower than the cast-in-place column,thisprove the steel plate hoop-bolt connection is feasible,the prefabricated column can beused instead of the cast-in-place column in project in case of securely connected.Finally,this paper explores working principle of the connection area,and provides designconsideration and design suggestion for engineering design to ensure a securelyconnection by determining the parameters of steel plate hoop and bolt.
