Plan&Design Research Of Live Space In Super-scale High School

Currently, with rapidly development of China’s urbanization, the situation ofpeople from rural area move to big cities has been speed up. For the foundationeducation, there are more and more empty schools occur in rural area. Particularly, thosehigh school established around the nine-years education period, not able to fit the newchallenges from urbanization trend. Thus, government has applied a new foundationeducation plan across the country. Normal high school move from small town to bigcities gradually, with a large scale size. According to research, nowadays high schoolwhich have about3000students studying in and over50classes, becoming more andmore. High school at the turning point, bear two important responsibilities of taking injunior high school students and delivery new college students. The number of highschool students grows fast which require a larger school space, and people eager to get abetter education quality. Normally, the size of high school should be controlled around24-48classes,50students each. However, recent years, many schools have80or100classes, which with60or70student, even90. This situation has many negativeinfluences on education and living conditions of both students and teachers.Therefore, there is a need for studying reconstruction and build large size highschool space.Students and teachers are the target groups, under the new educationreformation, the way of study is more flexible and the methods of teaching also becomediversity. The changes of education have more requirements for teaching space.Meanwhile, most high school are boarding school, students have to adapt the new environment with classmates. It is very necessary to discuss how to provide students aneffective and comfortable life. Therefore, my study will focus on large scale high schoolliving space, include space formation, size, number with the connection of whole school,through data, graphs and questionnaire research and analysis. Discovering thedifferences between large scale high school and normal high school, by using theorycombine with practice as my outline of future design.
