Water Culture Study In Landscape Design Of Water Project

Water contains everything. As the soul of water projects, water is also the key design material which determines the landscape planning of water projects and abundant water culture is contained in it. Water is also a basic culture in Chinese traditional cultures from some prospective. Likewise, water culture is a significant factor and the support of the deep cultural heritage in the landscape design of water project, and it is still an important part of national spirit which should be paid attention to. The water project scenic area is like a concentration of Chinese water conservancy, and water culture is the important carrier to display and inherit. At present, water project scenic is springing up. At the same time, problems are endless whether in management or in landscape design. And specialized study on the planning and design of the landscape is needed. This article emphasizes how to display and excavate water culture in the landscape design of water project. Starting from landscape design, this article integrates the meaning of water culture with the social functions it brings about. It also introduces the classification of water culture carriers and some relevant concepts. Further more, this article analyzes the relationship between water culture and its carrier and integrates it into the landscape design of water project, which can provide a reference for the future water projects and landscape design of the whole water project scenic areas. The main research achievements are as follows:(1)Analyzing the research status of water project landscape in China and abroad; summing up the characteristics and main problems of water project landscapes.(2)Explaining the evolution of present water culture and the relationship between water project culture and water culture(3) Analyzing the meaning and value of water culture, raising the design concept of water culture in the water project landscape design---clearness of context, excavation of history, fusion of nature, experience of culture, and expounding the layout of landscape design which carried by water culture:natural penetrating, orderly veined, and linearly progressive.(4) Analyzing basic concepts and functions of water culture and the carrier and putting forward the way water culture is combined with the carrier.(5) Conducting the above analysis and research by taking the case of Huang-chi Gou water outlet area landscape design of’Han Ji-Wei Works cited’for example...
