The river is humanistic waterfront environment in nature, and also is a typicalzonal landscape. Currently, high-speed urbanization, on the one hand brings riverpollution, river channelization, river severely damaged natural habitats; on the otherhand, a good relationship between human beings and the land, and the harmoniouscoexistence of human beings and Nature have caught widely attention. How to betteruse of valuable natural resources to meet the people and urban development needs to besolved.This article from the perspective of multi-natural to analyze the situation ofChan-Ba rivers, puts forward the natural characteristics of the river to the riparianlandscape design. This thesis is divided into five parts. The first part and the second partare the elaboration of the integrity and the background: the development of Chinese andwestern traditional water; the analysis of the evolution of modern Bin river waterfrontlandscape historical development trend, the current format and facing opportunities andchallenges; the summarization of the natural geography environment characteristics,historical and cultural evolution, development opportunities of Chan-Ba Rivers in Xi’ancity section, and the analysis of the necessity and feasibility of the multi-naturallandscape of Chan-Ba Riversin Xi’an City. The third part and the fourth part are in aparallel relationship: through the analysis of field investigation to Chan-Ba rivers, thenatural elements, the natural landscape of artificial factors are respectively constructed.The third part, firstly, it puts forward the river’s natural characteristics. Secondly, ittraces the origin and then sums up the currently remaining natural characteristics ofChan-Ba Rivers from the perspectives of river. Thirdly, it proposes to create a riparian landscape design inspiration in several coastal, river revetments, habitat alteration basedon its status in-depth analysis. The fourth part, firstly, the effect of urbanization on theriver city is expounded from the three aspects of watershed, river, and water quality.Then, from the analysis of the status of Chan-Ba rivers artificial damages and landscapetransformations thinking about the elements of artificial conception. The fifth partdrawsthe conclusion that the author draws a series of methods to create a more naturallandscape on the basis of Bin river landscape elements and with the combination of thedesign practice of Ba River Wetland Park Phase-Two fashion garden theme landscape.
