With the fast development of power electrics technology,microelectronic technology, permanentmagnet materials and control theory, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) AC controlsystem has accepted more and more concerns. PMSM is widely used on the automation equipments,such as computer numerical control machine tools and industrial. PMSM vector system has advantageover DC motor control system, so it has very important significance to study on high performance andreliability of PMSM vector system. This paper is aiming at vector control of PMSM system, and itsmain research as follows:To understand the structure and classification of PMSM fully, the mathematic model of PMSMare established according to coordinate transformation. Do a full comparison of PMSM controlsystem control strategies and the advantage and disadvantage of current control method, the vectorcontrolid=0of control strategy is determined.Through establishing a special coordinate system, therefore SVPWM is simplified, which makescorresponding calculation simpler. The simulation model of PMSM system is built in theMatlab/Simulink software environment, which includes the speed and current closed-loop control, thevector controlid=0of control strategy is verified.Then this paper gives out the hardware design of PMSM vector system based on TMS320F2812and IPM of the model PS21563-P in detail, the design and production of the system hardware arecompleted, and it is successful to debug the system of hardware.At last the software based on C language is written by Codewarrior, which realizes the currentand speed close-loop control. The flow chart of software is given. The experimental results based onthe design of hardware and software show the feasibility of the design, and the control system isstable and reliable, which has an excellent performance.
