The Summer Thermal Environment Research Of Building Courtyard In Huaqiao University Xiamen College

With the society-economic and urban development, people are getting more andmore concerned on the quality of living environment. In present, more and morepeople turn to concern with thermal comfort in outdoor environment.Today, theuniversity campus buildings to be more individual enclosure, the courtyard outdoorthermal environment is good or bad, that has great affecting on people’s life.Studying on the various effecting factors of outdoor thermal comfort is having greatsignificance in constructing comfort environment in campus’courtyard and achievingenergy saving in buildings.In this paper, based on the special climate conditions in Xiamen which have hotsummer and warm winter. Through to the investigation on the Xiamen campus ofHuaqiao University, and research on the campus building courtyard of thedistribution,size, degree of enclosure, towards real state of investigation, and so on forthe content of the solid state investigation, to find out, the common characteristics anddifferences of its existing campus of the pros and cons of the outdoor thermalenvironment. Based on the survey, make an example for several typical courtyard inXiamen campus Huaqiao University, measure the typical region temperature andhumidity, outdoor wind speed, black globe temperature, ground temperature, buildingwall materials’surface temperature, solar radiation and other indexes. It can help us toresearch the qualitative and quantitative of the shadow mask, underlying surfacematerial properties, water bodies and green layout and other factors on the outdoorthermal comfort environment of the campus.This article is also based on experimental results, using CFD software to make asimulation about the ventilation and heat in the Huaqiao University Xiamen campusdormitory building. For the sake of finding the relationship between the building complex and nature.Also, find a new way on making the sightless complicationvideotext in building design.At last, the paper make an advices of outdoor thermal environment for Universitycampus in Xiamen and South Fujian from the material selection, open degree, waterand green layout, etc. This study aims for the architects of the university outdoorthermal environment designed in South Fujian to provide a new idea and new methodto achieve architectural landscape with the perfect combination of human comfort,and also achieving the purpose of energy saving.
